Who we are
Better Built Ltd is a carpentry company based in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. We are the data controller for personal information collected through betterbuilt.ie. You can contact us about privacy at lukeoneill087@gmail.com or on 087 090 9859.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the job address or area, a description of the job, your budget, and the type of work it is.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we measure visits to the site, we use a privacy-focused service that does not use cookies or identify you.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, give you a quote and carry out the work if you go ahead. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. Enquiries are delivered to us by our form provider, Formspree, and the site is hosted by Cloudflare. Formspree may process data outside the EU, under the safeguards required by data protection law.
How long we keep it
If you don’t go ahead with the work, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If we carry out work for you, we keep the related records for as long as we need them for the job, any warranty, and our legal and tax obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email lukeoneill087@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
